Hello, my name is Megan Specht and I am the Director of St. Matthew Early Learning Center.  I have been here at St. Matthew for the last two years.  I have worked in the early childhood field for over 13 years.  I began as a  business student at Washburn University and worked part time as an assistant preschool teacher.  As time went by I realized that my heart was working with children and their families and so I changed my major and graduated with a BA of Sociology and focused in Early Childhood Education.  I have worked in several areas of the field from infants to school age children and have been a director for the last five years.  My passion is working with preschool children and love watching them grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually. 

The Early Learning Center is an active participant in the Kansas Quality Ratings and Improvement System (KQRIS), which has aided us in continuious growth and improvement of our program.  We invite you to come tour our facility and explore what St. Matthew Early Learning Center has to offer you and your family.
