Kindergarten Information Night Nov. 13th

St. Matthew Catholic School will hold its Kindergarten Information Night on Monday, November 13, at 6:30 in room 203 of the school.  All parents with children entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2017 are invited to attend.  SMCS Principal, Heather Stessman, and Kindergarten teacher, Sarah Hunt, will give a presentation about our curriculum and faith formation program and will answer any questions you might have, including those regarding costs and financial assistance.  Other staff will also be on hand and childcare will be available.  We hope that you consider St. Matthew Catholic School!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Heather at This email address is being protected from spambots. Celebrate your loved ones with books!

SMCS would like to invite you to celebrate your child or remember a loved one with a gift to the school library in the form of a new book in their honor or memory.  We currently have several books that have been donated in memory of loved ones and on the inside cover, those books are identified as a special gift in memory of someone and include the donor’s name.

The idea came to us to also celebrate birthdays this way as well.  If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday with a special book that can be shared by their friends in the library, we encourage you to select a book they would enjoy and send it to the school office for Mrs. Otting to prepare for circulation in the school library.  Please do not worry about duplicates because chances are if it is a new book we may not have it and if it is a classic, we likely could use a new copy!

On a separate sheet of paper, please write the name, dates, donor, etc. and include it with the book to assist us in accurately documenting the gift.  Feel free to write your own personal note inside the book cover if you would like.

Thank you for your consideration of this special book project.
