Dear Saint Matthew Families,
I am honored to continue my time with Saint Matthew parish and school in the administration position for the school. I am blessed to be working with Father John and I am excited to work with the excellent faculty and staff as we continue to educate our children and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Many years ago when Mom and Dad had me baptized here at Saint Matthew Church I am sure they did not foresee this for me. They then enrolled their shy little girl in the Saint Matthew School where I was encouraged to learn and grow here through the eighth grade. I then attended Hayden and Saint Mary College in Leavenworth. Catholic education has been part of my life since those early days at Saint Matthew School. Saint Matthew has been my parish for most of my life (minus our time away while Scott was in the Navy). As an educator I have been a part of Catholic schools for the last 32 years and I am excited to share my faith, my knowledge, my sweat and tears as the principal of our school.
I would like to thank Heather for giving me the opportunity to join the faculty last year as a teacher and for helping make the transition comfortable and smooth. I wish her the best as she pursues a new avenue in education.
I look forward to getting to know all of you this year. Many of you have already offered your blessings, prayers and support. I greatly appreciate this and am excited for our school year to begin. We are here to assist you in the education of your child. You are your child’s first and foremost teacher and together we will provide a faith-filled education for our children. Please feel free to catch me before or after school, to email me or call the school.
