The School Advancement Program (SAP) is an archdiocesan effort created by Michael and Patty Morriey to help make Catholic schools more successful and sustain their viability in the future.

 The aim of this program is to:

  • help with the retention and growth of students attending Catholic schools
  • reduce the parish’s financial support of school budgets
  • use more efficient, streamline marketing techniques
  • recruit individuals knowing the importance of a Catholic education and an eagerness to engage
  • to utilize the expertise of those in the business community to share their talents
  • create a long term strategic plan for the school and its facilities
  • look at challenges as opportunities for growth
  • help lessen the load of the school administration and staff

The program is made up of 17-20 individuals with varied backgrounds and business/life experiences that are willing to assist the school staff in making our school a success both now and in the future. The personal commitment is approximately 3 years. Each individual serves on at least one of the committees. The committees needed at each school may vary but the suggested hierarchical ones are as follows:

Executive—oversees all the other committees. Each member of this committee is responsible for at least one of the committees listed below.
