The Parish Finance Council oversees the financial stewardship of the parish and recommends to the pastor appropriate action in the areas of finance and resources in accordance with Archdiocesan Policies and Procedures. The council is also responsible for preparing and approving the annual parish budget, reviewing regularly the current finances of the parish, reporting annually to the parishioners the financial status of the parish, assisting the pastor in promoting stewardship so that the financial needs of the parish are adequately met, and ensuring that a proper system of internal controls for handling funds is in place. Members of the Finance Council are chosen and appointed by the pastor.

The Pastoral Council serves as a consultative group to the pastor, to assist him in fostering pastoral activities and in providing for the continued growth of parish life. The Pastoral Council is composed of members from the parish at large. The at-large members serve a 3-year term, with a rotation of three members being replaced every year.

The Physical Resource Committee is responsible for initiating and maintaining all buildings and properties of the parish.

This Ministry is not currently active.

The Social Justice Ministry is responsible for the development and formation of programs to provide leadership and assistance to the members of the parish family in fulfilling their responsibilities to their fellow man, both locally and globally. 

The Stewardship Ministry helps to promote stewardship within our parish and educate our parishioners of the importance of making stewardship a part of our everyday lives. It also oversees the annual time, talent and treasure renewal/sign-up, making sure that our list of volunteers is kept current and that every effort is being made to contact our volunteers and that their gifts are being fully utilized.

The Welcoming Committee assists those who are new to our parish by helping them through the registration process and addressing any questions they might have in regards to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
