Would you like to remember a loved one with an engraved brick in our Memorial Garden? 

The St. Matthew Garden Club is accepting orders for Memorial Bricks
which will be placed in the Memorial Garden in front of the Blessed Mary statue.


Each brick is $100 and can feature your loved one’s first and last name only.  Due July 15. 

Proceeds from this project will continue to support Garden Club projects
benefiting St. Matthew Parish grounds.

made payable to St. Matthew Garden Club 
in the Sunday collection basket
or mail directly to the St. Matthew Parish Office, 2700 SE Virginia Ave, Topeka, KS 66605.

 Annual St. Matthew Parish Card Marathon

Play once a month from September through March  -  7 times in all.

One-time sign up fee to play is $10.00 per person, or $20.00 per couple.

If you wish to participate in this fun, social activity with other card players,
please complete the form (link below) and submit it, with your fee(s).

We invite parishioners and families to sign up to be Gift Bearers at weekend Masses.

Sign-up sheets are available in the vestibule each month. 

Please note Gift Bearers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to Mass to check in.

The St. Matthew Women’s Organization Board is looking for groups and/or individuals who would like to host Donut Sundays. 

You will need three people for each of the Sunday Masses on Donut Sunday (the third Sunday of each month).

Join us for the next Parish Work Day on Saturday, August 1 from 8am to Noon. 

We will have lots to keep us busy for the morning.  We focus on school projects, outside projects and general cleaning throughout the parish.   

Volunteer for an hour or the whole morning.  Bring the family!  Water and snacks provided.

 

 

Save the date for Saturday, Sep 19, 2026 for a St. Matthew Community event with dinner and dancing.

The St. Matthew Fall Festival features a traditional Turkey Dinner of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, coleslaw, roll & dessert. We also have fun for the whole family with Indoor Games and Booths that include bingo, card games, silent auction, baked goods, religious items, cake spin, children's games, concessions and a 50/50 Drawing. Plan to join us each fall!

 The Fall Festival for 2026 will be held Sunday, October 25.
