The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a year-long process of prayer, learning, and reflection designed for those seeking to become Catholic, Baptized Catholics seeking Confirmation, and for those simply exploring the Catholic faith. It is open to all adults.

We invite parishioners and families to sign up to be Gift Bearers at weekend Masses.

Sign-up sheets are available in the vestibule each month. 

Please note Gift Bearers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to Mass to check in.

St. Matthew is looking for two people to serve the community in the following positions: 1 Full-time Parish/School Custodian and 1 Part-time School Night Custodian

 

Parish/School Custodian (Full-time: 7:30am—4:00pm)

 A person who maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the St. Matthew facilities —
including regular cleaning, minor repairs, and event setup/tear down/cleanup, often working under the direction of the pastor, church staff, or building administrator.

 

School Night Custodian (Part-time: 3:30pm to 7:30pm)

A person responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for the school and parish after school hours.
This includes tasks like cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas; emptying trash; and ensuring the building is secure for the night.

The St. Matthew Women’s Organization Board is looking for groups and/or individuals who would like to host Donut Sundays. 

You will need three people for each of the Sunday Masses on Donut Sunday (the third Sunday of each month).

The St. Matthew Fall Festival features a traditional Turkey Dinner of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, coleslaw, roll & dessert. We also have fun for the whole family with Indoor Games and Booths that include bingo, card games, silent auction, baked goods, religious items, cake spin, children's games, concessions and a 50/50 Drawing. Plan to join us each fall!

 The Fall Festival for 2026 will be held Sunday, October 25.
