The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a formation program tailored for adults who know little about the Catholic Church and have desire to learn, those who are desiring to convert from other Christian religions, Catholics who have not received one or more of the 3 sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation), and Catholics who wish to share their faith with others, while deepening their own spiritual life, as a sponsor and/or companion to others. It is open to all adults. 

Classes on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm from September - May.

First class for 2026-2027 is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Requirements for Sponsors: A practicing Catholic who is willing to accept the privilege of supporting their candidate during the sacramental preparation and beyond. Sponsors must have been Confirmed; and if married, married sacramentally in the Catholic Church.
